Delivery time

Once the order has been placed, your item will be shipped the following day. Please allow up to 5 working days for the delivery to arrive.

All deliveries will be made by APC Couriers.

We deliver Tuesday – Friday. Orders placed on Friday will be picked up by APC Couriers on the following Monday.

Please note that due to unexpected weather conditions and road accidents, there is a chance that your parcel may be delayed. We cannot be held liable for any delays in delivery. The goods are always still suitable for consumption, even if they experience delay. This is because the parcel will be chilled using suitable chilled packing.

Delivery of waxed cheeses:

Sometimes the delivery of your order can be delayed and this can cause waxed cheeses to become warm and soft. When they do this the cheese will sometimes expand in the wax and cause a hairline crack. This can cause some leakage to occur that is perfectly harmless, simply wipe the cheese down and chill the cheese in a fridge for a few hours to become firm again. Due to the use of salt in the cheese no harmful bacteria can form on the cheese.

 

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, minimum order value is just £20.00

Where can you ship to in the UK?

We deliver anywhere in England/Wales (Excluding offshore) and Scotland Mainland (Excluding Highlands, Islands and Aberdeen), via APC Overnight.

How will you package Chilled Goods?

Our chillers have a constant temperature of 2 degrees. We pack items that require chilling with special frozen gel pads that can keep products, chilled at less than 8 degrees for over 48 hours. The frozen gel pads and chilled products are sealed inside an ice cube bubble bag (silver lined to retain the cold) to ensure minimum loss of temperature, even in summer months.

Do you ship outside of UK?

We do not ship outside the UK

What if I am not in when the delivery arrives?

Because of the nature of the chilled products, the courier is unable to take the parcel back.

The best practice would be to leave a message at check out in the box under special instructions section, stating where you would like the parcel to be left in case you are not in, eg. leave parcel in porch, next door neighbours, work address etc.

Please leave a contact number for the courier in case you need to be contacted about your delivery.

Please note - All products ordered should be put into a fridge as soon as received. From our experience, it is very difficult to 'spoil' cheese, but best practice would always be to ensure it is kept below 8 degrees.

Returns

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the chilled items, we are unable to except returns except in circumstances where the item is faulty, received wrong item or was not as described.   

All items are kept refrigerated at our warehouse and packed with care ready for delivery using suitable special frozen gel pads, that can keep products chilled at less than 8 degrees for over 48 hours.
